An Italian getaway
With Italian Cypress Trees as his muse, Mr. Boddington couldn’t go wrong. An image of the Italian countryside was transformed into a postcard to alert guests of their upcoming adventure. They then received formal letterpressed invitations with Cypresses sprinkled throughout to announce the official affair. This elegant destination wedding was certainly one for the books.

Dunton Dreamland
Nestled in the foothills of the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, rests an incredible and exclusive resort where wedding bliss exists in it’s prime. Centering the theme around the celestial was not hard to do with the Colorado night sky as your muse. Mr. Boddington often gets used to the New York City skyline and always marvels at the reminder of a sky layered in stars. With that very image on the brain he drew a starry night sky that was printed in brilliant navy hues to saturate the inside cover of a letterpressed save the weekend booklet. Each page was filled with wedding information and details about Dunton Hot Springs and was bound together with a suede strap. Stars were carried over onto the wedding menu as well and letterpressed as place cards so that no one lost their spot!

The paper pieces don’t stop there. Mr. Boddington switched his vantage point from up to down focusing the rehearsal dinner theme on the lodge grounds. The escort cards and table numbers were saturated with banjos and horses and campfires galore!

Art Center Affair
Mr. Boddington was giddy with excitement after his first meeting with this incredible couple. “A both modern and Indian affair at Chicago’s Arts Center, and you would like praying mantises and florals and elephants? How marvelous! ” Mr. Boddington accepted the challenge with delight and set off hand-drawing critters and the like with Indian folklore as his muse. The save the date was a tri-fold accordion depicting a playful Indian wedding ceremony and was letterpressed in rich purples and creams on 100% cotton paper made from recycled garments. Where did we wind up for the main invitation suite (and every little paper piece in between) ? Well go on, see for yourself!

Burns Beach Blowout
Mr. Boddington was inspired by the brilliant shades and hues (of blues!) for this Gasparilla Island wedding. The ocean, the sky, oh my! With folded save the dates guests received a beautiful hand-drawn map of the island with all sorts of details and tid-bits written on the back in our favorite house-made fonts. Please hold all letters to Mr.Boddington. He is currently beach side with a Bombay and Tonic.

Officers Row Revelry
This incredible couples family home nestled behind grand live oaks on a quaint street on Tybee Island just about sent Mr. Boddington into retirement one very lovely day last May. With original antique wallpaper to inspire the nautical save the dates, white peacocks in the trees and good friends on the lawn…what more could a person dream for? (Except for a bride as beautiful as this one, of course).

Blackberry Farm Bliss
It would be impossible for even the most articulate of stationers to properly convey the array of adventures available at this outstanding wedding on Blackberry Farm. The best place to start? The save the date, of course! Mr. Boddington playfully packed in all the exciting activities with an assortment of house-made fonts to alert every guest to exactly what was in store for them. So thrilled to share it all, Mr. Boddington continued busily drawing a map of the farm detailing everything from the cottages and cabins to the hiking trails and truffle orchards. Tennessee, here we come!

Dreaming of Dumbo
Half a world apart and long ago, both Yanni and Kapil were told that they would have to leave their homes and most cherished possessions and move to the States. For one this meant parting with a beautiful banana-seater and for the other a trusty one speed…their respective and beloved bicycles. An initially heartbreaking separation ended up bringing these two together down the road, as it sparked their first conversation and commonality. Their story so warmed Mr. Boddington’s heart that with bicycles on the brain, he went fast to work hand-drawing every detail…from bridges to buildings to bike-paths. Buckle up and take a look!
